The Ayr 2026 Scottish Archery Tour Stage 2 was an excellent event for Prestwick St Cuthbert Archery Club’s Barebow Open archers.
Craig Burns produced the standout result of the competition, winning the Barebow Open category after qualifying in 3rd place. His improvement between the two qualification rounds and his eventual first-place finish demonstrate his ability to perform at a high level in a competitive field.
Paul Seditas also produced an excellent qualification performance, finishing 4th with 500 points and demonstrating a high level of consistency across both rounds. Although the final ranking did not reflect his strong qualification position, the experience gained from competing through the final stage will provide valuable learning for future competitions.
With both Prestwick St Cuthbert archers qualifying in the top four, the event demonstrates the growing strength of the club’s Barebow programme and its ability to compete successfully at Tour level.
